This is my favorite time of year. It is a time of new beginnings, rebirth and promises. A romantic at heart, I love bringing romance into my decorating (nest), especially in spring.

Whether with fresh tulips in bunches throughout the house, ruffled and light linens replacing the heavy blankets of winter or fresh light pastels introduced to brighten up a room. a romantic touch throughout embraces the spirit of spring...

As the last of the snow melts away from my garden signaling winter has passed, I begin to get a warm fuzzy feeling inside. The craving for spring starts me thinking of light colours, fresh flowers, green things and warm sunshine. It is a time to open the windows and let the warm breeze in, update my decorating and start planning the garden season.

Soft sculpture fairy

In this 2 day workshop  you will create a fully clothed fairy and learn how to needle sculpt a face and sew articulated fingers as well as many other tricks I have learned over the years.   Students are required to bring their own sewing   machine and sewing kit and have basic sewing experience.

Back by popular demand. There is nothing more stunning than sunlight streaming through stain glass. In this workshop you will learn to create and mosaic a basic design to hang in a window. We supply your frame, glass and adhesive and safety glasses. Students are required to bring glass nippers. ( we do sell wheeled glass nippers at the studio) Wednesday and Thursday will be spent designing and mosaic-ing your piece.  You will return Monday evening to grout and polish your design.
