It has been a lovely summer here at Vintage Pixie Studio. What better time to celebrate, then with a sale. Starting Thursday August 11 , until Saturday August 20th we will have a sale on almost everything in the studio 25% off everything except figurative art. Don't miss out!   We have also listed our late summer, early autumn workshops. All of our workshops are designed for all skill levels. You take home a completed project no matter your experience. Join us for one of many and varied D.I.Y. workshops. Space is limited, so don't delay. Register early. You are not considered registered until you have paid in full. All classes are non refundable. All materials supplied. Students are required to bring a stylus or metal knitting needle to sculpt with. Any other tools needed will be on hand. No experience required. A light lunch will be provided. Mosaic window  Monday, September 19, 6-9pm Tuesday, September 20, 6-9pm Thursday, September 22, 6-8pm $105.00 Back by popular demand. There is nothing more stunning than sunlight streaming through stain glass. In this workshop you will learn to create and mosaic a basic design to hang in a window. We supply your frame, glass and adhesive and safety glasses. .  Garden Stepping Stone Thursday August 18, 6pm-9pm $45.00 Our unique spin on the garden stone using crash glass and paint. You can customize your design and colours. Fibre Landscape Monday, September 12. 6-9:00pm Tuesday, September 13,  6-9:30pm $85.00 In this workshop you will be working with fibre to create a gorgeous work of art. You will learn basic needle felting, simple free motion embroidery and embellishment with beads and ribbon. This is for all skill levels however students do require a sewing machine and basic sewing knowledge. All materials supplied. Your sewing machine is required on the 2nd evening and must have drop feed capabilities. Open Mosaic evenings every Wednesday  6 pm-9:30pm $15.00 Open nights are for those of you that have previously taken a mosaic workshop with us and would like to do another project. We provide the space, adhesive and assistance if needed, you bring the project. Glass and bases are available to purchase on site. we ask that you call to register before just dropping in.     Felted Bunny Sunday September 18, 10am- 4pm $90.00 Create this loveable rabbit using a wire armature and needle felting technique. All skill levels. All materials supplied including a light lunch.
