Mosaic window
Sun., Feb. 8, 10am-4pm
Tues., Feb. 10,  6pm-7:30

Back by popular demand. There is nothing more stunning than sunlight through stain glass. In this workshop you will learn to basic mosaic skills to create a lovely window. We supply all materials as well as an assortment of patterns to choose from. students can bring their own picture. A light lunch is provided on the Sunday . You will return Tuesday evening to grout and polish your window.

Sculpting a Faerie

Sun., March 1, 10am-4pm
$300.00 (this includes kit fee)
For the first time, this is a 3 day workshop. You will learn step by step techniques to sculpt a pretty faerie in polymer clay.
We will sculpt the head, hands and feet. and apply them to a wire armature. We will learn some basic costuming, painting and hair application. You will have a completed sculpture by the end of the 3 days.
A light lunch will be provided each day. This workshop is for all skill levels. Students require a knitting needle and scraps of fabrics for costuming.

Garden Toadstool

Thurs. February 26, Thurs. March 5, 12, 19

In this 4 evening workshop you will create an adorable toadstool character in a 2part epoxy and bring him to life with paint to adorn your garden or home. No experience required. All materials and tools supplied.

Needle felted chick

Sunday March 15th
12pm -5pm

Just in time for spring you can create this adorable chick on a wire armature so it is pose able. Any skill level welcome . all materials supplied.

 Fibre art canvas or journal cover

In this workshop you will be working with fibres to create a gorgeous work of art. You will learn basic needle felting, simple free motion embroidery and embellishment with beads and ribbon. You have a choice of making a mounted picture or a reusable journal cover.  This is for all skill levels. We provide the supplies and students require a felting needle (available for purchase at the studio) . On the Thursday evening students are required to bring  a sewing machine with assorted threads that is able to drop feed dog. Please know how to operate your sewing machine-we don't teach sewing.

Personalized Fabric / Lace collage  
Tuesday March 25, 6pm-9:30pm 
These charming multi-media collages are great for the wall, can be made into a pillow or even a bag. Once you have completed one you will be addicted. Materials are supplied. Students can bring personal embellishments to add if they wish. You are required to bring a sewing machine and basic sewing kit. If you would like to email me a personal photo and/or quote, I can prepare it for transfer to personalize your collage. Only basic sewing skills needed

Mosaic Lamp

This is an intermediate class for all of you who love mosaics.  These lamps are absolutely stunning. They  stand approximately 14" tall and 7" diameter.  We recommend some mosaic experience to participate in this workshop. All materials supplied including a light lunch on the full days.  Students require their own glass nippers.
Resin Jewelry workshop

Thursday March 26, 6pm-9;30
In this fun workshop you will create three pendants using mixed media, collage and resin, as well as learning some basic jewelry techniques. No previous experience required. all materials supplied.
