Although the days are getting longer, it will still be awhile before temperatures tell us spring is here.
Workshops are a great way to venture out of the house, and get creative.
We have a broad range of workshops for all tastes.
 We have some new classes and some popular favorites running again.All of our workshops are designed for all skill levels.
You take home a completed project no matter your experience.
Join us for one of many and varied D.I.Y. workshops.

Wet felted Scarf

Sunday February 26  12:30pm-4pm
this is a great way to learn the basics of nuno felting while creating a fashionable and warm collar. No previous skill required. All materials supplied

Mosaic Bird

These birds are a colourful fun addition for the garden or can be used as a trivet.  The bird is approx 10" long. All materials supplied. No skill necessary.

Mosaic Dragonfly

A colourful addition to any garden, these funky dragonfly are a fun way to try your hand at mosaics. this piece is flat to hang on wall or fence and is approx. 24" long . All materials supplied, no skill necessary.
sculpting a poseable elfSaturday February 11 10-4pm
Sunday February 12 10-3pm

In this 2 day workshop you will sculpt a poseable elf. You will sculpt head, hands, and feet and assemble on a wire armiture. The adorable costuming and embellishing will be done on day two. No experience required. Students are required to bring a knitting needle for sculpting on day one, and a basic sewing kit (scissors, needle, thread, pins) for day two. All other supplies will be supplied
Just Wingin' itThursday, February 23,  6pm-9:30pm

Create three different style wings in three unique techniques. All materials supplied

Resin Assemblage pendants

Monday, March 13, 6pm-9:30

Create three funky pendants using assemblage and collage techniques. You will learn resin mixing. all materials supplied no experience necessary.

Felted LandscapesMonday, Februay 27,  6pm-9pm
Tuesday February 28,  6pm-9pm
In this workshop you will be working with fibres to create a gorgeous work of art. You will learn basic needle felting, simple free motion embroidery and embellishment with beads and ribbon.  This is for all skill levels. We povide the supplies and on the second evening students are required to bring  a sewing machine that is able to drop the feed dog. Also assorted threads and a basic sewing kit ie. scissors, pins,  etc.  Please know how to operate your sewing machine-we don't teach sewing

 Back by popular demand. There is nothing more stunning than sunlight through stain glass. In this workshop you will learn basic mosaic skills to create a lovely window. We supply all materials as well as an assortment of patterns to choose from. Students can bring their own picture.  You will return Tuesday evening to grout and polish your window.
Open Mosaic NightsEvery Wednesday  6 pm-9:30pm
Open nights are for those of you that have previously taken a mosaic workshop with us and would like to do another project. We provide the space, adhesive and assistance if needed, you bring the project. Glass and bases are available to purchase on site. we ask that you call to register before just dropping in
