For one day, this group assembled in the new workshop, with their determination, creativity, ideas and inspirations, to produce their own work of glass mosaic art.
There was some serious concentration going on.
Its all about finding that perfect pieces of glass, with so many colours and textures to choose from...
Once the adhesive is cured, we met again in the garage workshop to dig into pails of mud-like grout, filling in the spaces between all those carefully placed glass pieces.
Then it was scraping and cleaning of the excess grout, to show the glass peeking through.
Just a little elbow grease and some cleaning cloths....
some buffing and shining....and the brilliant work of art is revealed!
and so, now for the BEST part!
